Beautiful hand-embroidered brooches by Lorna of Stitchbirdie.

Worked onto woollen tweed with Daughter of a Shepherd yarn, the silver grey is Drover sock yarn leftover after the mill completed plying so there are only two ends rather than our standard three, while the darker versions are worked in our Hebridean Lace, both of which show off the nuances of the yarn perfectly.
